Endeavor Detroit Selects Pocketnest

Endeavor Detroit, a company whose mission is to drive economic growth and job creation by selecting, mentoring, and accelerating the best high-impact entrepreneurs around the world, selected Pocketnest for its first annual ScaleUp program in Detroit.

With support from The New Economy Initiative (NEI), Endeavor selected Pocketnest as an "exceptional leader of a future high-growth company" and will support Pocketnest's next-level growth and scale.

Pocketnest founder and CEO, Jessica Willis will participate in ScaleUp and, along with five other founders, will receive direct mentorship from current Endeavor Entrepreneurs, mentors, and other successful business leaders in Endeavor’s national network.

Throughout the 6-month program, Willis and her cohort will undergo a strategic, growth-focused assessment through EY’s proprietary 7 Drivers of Growth workshop to identify ways to accelerate growth and achieve market leadership; attend a clinic led by renowned Harvard Business School Professor Lynda Applegate; receive 1:1 mentoring from top advisors and entrepreneurs in Endeavor’s network; and complete a mock Endeavor Selection Panel to receive tactical feedback from subject matter experts and seasoned entrepreneurs.

Willis will gather with the five other founders in her cohort, virtually, on Thursday, January 28 to kick off the 2021 ScaleUp program.

Pocketnest was selected among other incredible fintech startups, including AaDya Security, Dunamis Clean Energy Partners, Integral, and PassiveBolt. To date, Endeavor has screened more than 60,000 individuals and selected more than 2,000 founders leading over 1,200 scale-up companies. With support from Endeavor’s worldwide mentor network, Endeavor Entrepreneurs have created over 4.1 million jobs, generate more than $24 billion in revenue each year, and inspire future generations to innovate and take risks, building strong entrepreneurship ecosystems in growth markets.
