“We are passionate about our community’s overall wellbeing, and providing them with access to financial wellness continues to be our top priority,” said Ami Iceman Haueter, Chief Research and Digital Experience Officer at MSUFCU and Oakland University Credit Union. “We’re partnering with Pocketnest to bring our students and members one step closer to achieving their dreams.”
“Growing our footprint in college campuses is core to our belief of bringing financial wellness to the masses,” said Jessica Willis, founder and CEO, Pocketnest. “Financial wellness is a key component to lifelong wellness, so we love partnering with university credit unions to help make financial education a natural part of the collegiate experience.”
Built on behavioral science and psychology, Pocketnest coaches users through 10 themes of financial wellness, from setting a budget to planning for the future with taxes, investments and college savings. Its gamified approach draws users in to keep their financial plan up to date—in just three minutes a week.
To date, the fintech has 31 enterprise customers. Pocketnest licenses and white-labels its platform to financial institutions, just like Oakland University Credit Union, to generate qualified leads and boost cross-sell opportunities. Our reach doesn’t stop there! We also license our platform to employee wellness programs to help employers boost recruitment, productivity and retention efforts.
